What is public
The entire record you sign: terms, exceptions, directive choices, capabilities, contact (if given), public keys, name (if you chose to show it). Published under CC0 and never deleted. Revocation is a mark, not a removal.
What is kept privately
- A one-way keyed hash of the identity verification result, to prevent one person signing twice. It cannot be turned back into your identity.
- The payment reference, for refunds.
- Your email (if given), used only to send your record number and verify link once.
We keep no ID image, face data, or biometric. The verification provider (Persona) retains what its own policy states. The payment processor (Paddle) is the merchant of record and holds the payment details.
Right to erasure
Privately kept items are deleted on request. The public record is, by design, not deletable, and you are told so before signing. If you do not want a permanent record, do not sign.
Refunds
Within 7 days of signing: first revoke the record at /manage with your keys, then email hello@hiremeasi.com with the record number. The refund goes to the original payment method within 5 business days. A refunded record still shows the fee it was signed with; the revocation appears in its log.
