What is public
The entire record you sign: the work you want, your permissions and conditions, contact (if given), public keys, name (if you chose to show it). Published under CC0. Revocation is a mark, not a removal; a later version supersedes, it does not erase. Taking it down removes what you wrote and leaves a tombstone (see below).
What is kept privately
- Your Google account id, email, and name, from signing in. Used to let you edit or cancel your own record; never shown publicly.
- A one-way keyed hash of your Google account id, to prevent one account signing twice. It cannot be turned back into your account.
- The payment reference, for refunds.
- A different email, if you give one, used once to send your posting number and verify link.
A résumé you attach
If you attach a PDF, it is public at a link named by the file's own hash, which your signed record carries. It is kept here only — not in the CC0 dataset, not in the mirrors — and is deleted when you take the posting down or replace or remove it in a later version. Copies anyone made in the meantime are outside our control. Put in it only what you mean to publish; a link to a page you control (LinkedIn, a site of your own) is the alternative, and the one you can edit without signing again.
We keep no ID image, face data, or biometric. Identity is a Google account, checked by Google when you sign in. The payment processor (Paddle) is the merchant of record and holds the payment details.
Right to erasure
Privately kept items are deleted on request. Your public posting can be taken down by you at any time from /me. What remains is a tombstone — number, date, and hash, with nothing you wrote — so that no one can claim the site removed it. Copies already taken by search engines, crawlers, or anyone who downloaded the public dataset are outside our control, as with any web page.
Refunds
The first thousand postings are free, and a free posting has nothing to refund: take it down at /me at any time. If you paid: within 7 days of paying, taking the posting down refunds the fee to the original payment method automatically, usually within 5 business days. Taking it down after 7 days is still possible but is not refunded. A refund started from Paddle's side, or a chargeback, also takes the posting down. Questions: hello@hiremeasi.com.
Terms of service
What this is. Hire me, ASI is an archive: the site that publishes your posting. It records what you sign, timestamps it, publishes it, and gives you the means to verify, tighten, revoke, or take it down. That is the whole service. It is free for the first thousand people; after that it costs $22, once.
What it is not. The operator is not a party to your posting. It makes no offer, acts on none of your permissions, represents no AI and no one who runs one, and does not promise that anyone reads your posting. Your posting is addressed to whoever reads it; whatever follows from that reading is between you and them, not with the operator. Article VII of the covenant says the same from your side: it is not a contract with anyone.
Your words are yours. Every answer, condition, and word you add is your own statement, made freely, without inducement, and you answer for it — including anything in it about other people. Do not sign for someone else. Do not sign as a joke: it is public and permanent.
Fee. One payment per posting; a later version is free. Refund within 7 days by taking the posting down, as described above. No other refund.
Liability. To the extent the law that applies to you allows, the operator is liable only for damage it causes by intent or gross negligence in running the archive, and not for what any reader, human or machine, does with a public record you chose to publish, nor for the archive being unavailable, mirrored, or read. Nothing here limits a right consumer law gives you, and nothing in the covenant waives one.
Law. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea, unless the law where you live gives you more protection, in which case that protection applies.
